Context

Dominica Robbins-Wilson wears three professional hats — Realtor, Notary Public, and Educational Consultant — under Robbins Real Estate Group, the brand named after her late parents. What she didn't have was one place on the web that held all of it together.

askDominica became that place: a single scrolling personal-brand site where the first screen belongs to the Robbins Real Estate Group brand, her community work plays as real video, and every service has a clear door in.

The design

  • The "Open Door" arch. The site's visual motif is a doorway — her portrait framed in an arch, echoing what she actually sells: a way in. Earthy sage-led palette, warm serif display type, deliberately far from template real-estate blue.
  • Real footage, not stock. The hero runs muted community video cut from her actual H.O.M.E. Fair event in Baldwin Hills — her in her element, not a skyline drone shot.
  • Her words, verbatim. The tagline is hers: "Anything is possible if you have faith." The education copy is hers. Client corrections were applied site-wide within a day of her review.

The lead pipeline

The part that makes it a funnel and not a brochure — engineered end to end and ready to switch on:

  • A branded contact form with a service picker that pre-selects from whichever "How I can help" card the visitor came from.
  • Submissions fan out to a Google Sheet that doubles as her lead dashboard, an email to Dominica carrying a vCard attachment (one tap and the lead is in her phone contacts), and an automated warm reply to the visitor.
  • No database, no monthly SaaS bill. Inquiries land in a Google Sheet and hit the inbox automatically — the whole funnel runs on the Google ecosystem she already uses, at $0 a month. Same architecture family as my Shinjiru funnel builds.

The build

Next.js and Tailwind on Vercel — and, deliberately, my own portfolio's component system re-skinned to her brand rather than a from-scratch build. That reuse is what made a days-long turnaround possible without cutting quality: tested components, new skin, her story.

Status

Live, client-reviewed, and iterating: her feedback round is applied and deployed, the custom domain and pipeline activation are queued on client-side accounts, and the next tier (lead dashboard, booking, follow-up sequences) is scoped.
